For this tutorial you'll need PSP, the
program
20/20,
Graphics Plus Filter, Xenofex Filter
and a nice tube,
I used a tube from Chinni,
Open the tube and resize till a height of 300 pixels.
Effects - sharpen - sharpen.
Duplicate (shift D) the tube once and close the original one.
Edit - copy.
Open a new image, 1024x300, transparant.
Add a new layer.
Selections - select all.
Edit - paste into selection.
Deselect.
Effects - plugins - Xenofex - Origami with these settings

Your image looks like this

Effects - Graphics Plus - Quick Tile I with these settings

Edit - copy.
Open the programm 20/20.
Edit - paste as new image.
Image - seamless tile.
You'll see that your image has a white background now.

Edit - copy.
Go back to PSP.
Go to your backgroundlayer.
Selections - select all.
Edit - paste into selection.
(Now you see that the layer doesn't have the
Graphics Plus effects anymore).
Deselect.
Add a new layer.
In your layer palette you move this new layer down. This is the bottomlayer now.
Pick a color from your tube, I use #4872A6 and floodfill this layer.
In your layer palette, make layer 1 active (the upper layer) and reduce the
opacity to 60.

My image looks like this

Merge the layers visible.
Go back to the tube.
Image - mirror.
Take your magic wand, tolerance and feather 0, and click outsite the tube.
Selections - invert.
Selections - modify - contract, 3 pixels.
Selections - modify - feather, 6 pixels.
Edit - copy.
Go back to your background.
Edit - paste as new layer.
Move the tube to the left of the image.

Image - resize - 50%, all layers UNchecked.
Move the tube to the left upper.
Image - rotate with these settings

Effects - sharpen - sharpen.
In your layer palette you duplicate this layer once.
Image - mirror.

Duplicate layer 1 once more.
Move this duplicated layer to the right bottom, like below

Duplicate the lowest copy layer, that's the tubelayer right under.
Image - mirror.
My image looks like this

Hide the backgroundlayer, by clicking the glasses in the layer palette.
Make one of the tube layers activ.
Merge the layers visible.
Effects - 3d effects - dropshadow with these settings

Merge all layers (flatten), sign your image and save as jp(e)g.
